Rewarding tenants for pride in their place
Pride in Your Place is a monthly award that celebrates social housing tenants who do an exceptional job of looking after their social housing property and garden.
The awards kicked off again for 2025 with Lorraine Bathern and Camron Rankine of Elliott receiving a $200 voucher and signed certificate personally handed over by Minister Steve Edgington.
Lorraine and Camron won the award for their beautifully maintained garden. Congratulations!
Pride in Your Place awards are open to all social housing tenants in urban and remote areas and a Department of Housing, Local Government and Community Development staff member can nominate a tenant at any time.
So whether a tenant has a sparkling clean home, a blooming garden or a beautifully maintained lawn, they have a chance to win no matter where they are in the Territory.
